Central Oklahoma Waterfowl Hunt

This adventure is in central Oklahoma. For a long time, Oklahoma has been a sleeper state for waterfowl, but the word is out and it is quickly becoming one of the hottest states to hunt with less pressure than many other states. Millions of ducks and geese migrate through this state every year. From mallards and pintails to several species of geese to include lesser canada geese, white-fronted or specklebellies and snow geese by the thousands.

The key to an outfitters success is not overbooking hunts and allowing the birds in the area to rest, which this outfitter is adamant about. This outfitters hunts consist of large feeds, sometimes anywhere between 10,000 to 30,000 birds in peanut, corn and wheat fields. Ducks are targeted over ponds and flooded crop fields. Being at the bottom of the central flyway the birds harvested are in their full plumage and perfect for that trophy mount.

LODGING
Clients will stay at a 3 bedroom 3 full bath ranch house that sleeps 9. There is WiFi available.

MEALS
Before the hunt granola bars, muffins, cereal, orange juice and coffee are available. Lunch and dinners are prepared by a private chef.

GETTING THERE
You can drive to the lodge which is an hour west of Oklahoma City or fly into Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City and rent a vehicle.
