Description

This HFA Endorsed Outfitter manages private ranches primed for Tule elk hunting. Their ranches work with the state of California to receive guaranteed landowner tags for Tule elk bulls and cows. Every year we receive 3-5 cow tags and 3-5 bull tags. Those tag numbers are reassessed every year based on the population of elk on their ranches.

Their private land management tags are valid for use from July 1st through December 31st. They schedule hunts from mid-July through September, during the peak of the rut. Bull elk hunts are scheduled for five days of hunting, and cow elk hunts are scheduled for two days of hunting. Additional days may be added to any hunt. Trophy bulls have average scores between 285” – 330” with some exceeding 340” . Most bulls make the Boone and Crockett Club minimum, with multiple bulls ranked in the top 10 for B&C and SCI record books. Spot and stalk methods are used as well as traditional calling tactics during the peak of the rut.

Hunters can expect delicious meals and exceptional accommodations throughout the duration of their Tule elk hunt. Hunts are conducted in the mornings and evenings with a lunch break taken midday. A total of 5 days is allocated for hunting for bull elk hunts; however, due to their intensive scouting and well-sustained habitat, there is a good chance you will have an elk down before the 5th day. This outfitter is located amongst beautiful wine country and only 25 minutes from Paso Robles, which further affords you and your guests the chance to explore the grand Central Coast of California.
