Description
This outfitter has been around for over 40 years, and they’ve been providing quality hunting experiences for hunters across the globe. Their focus has been on providing high quality hunts, and in many cases they have taken “book” heads for their big game hunters. As a family based operation, from the field to the kitchen the entire family participates in your experience, and all of that combines with their competent seasoned guides, they rests assured that their clients are satisfied year in and year out.
This outfitter’s area has a lot of whitetail, and they keep their client numbers low to ensure quality. The archery whitetail hunts run early to mid September. Bucks are bachelor herded then and much easier to pattern. Trail cams help identify possible candidates. Ladder stands are used for this hunt. Temperatures are generally warm during the day, possibly dropping to freezing over night. Most of their archery whitetail are conducted on private lands where no one else hunts as well.
The rifle whitetail hunts are in November. Most utilize box blinds. The rut kicks in mid month, but they have taken some great bucks in the pre-rut. Should temperatures drop, they have heaters if needed. Hunts are 6 days in length, unless other arrangements have been made. They strive for mature deer and have consistently produced great heads. Hunters willing to put in their time, and pass mid-range bucks can truly find deer of a lifetime.
The camp consists of the lodge, cabins, showers, and in the lodge is where the dining takes place. The facilities are up-to-date and are run with electricity and gas. The facilities are equipped with showers, washer/dryer units, and all of the other amenities of home. Vehicles and ATV's are used to access the area.
Deer hunts are set up as 6-day hunts for deer only, and 10-Day hunts for combo's.
