Description
This HFA Endorse Outfitter offers Brown Bear hunts in the Alaskan backcountry. Brown Bears are one of the most sought after trophies for many big game hunters. They are one of the larges creatures Alaska has to offer, and hunting them is the thrill of a lifetime. They average between 7-8' with some pushing closer to 9' for some of the truly trophy sized animals.
After arriving in Anchorage, you can expect one night in the city prior to flying to your base camp in the field. Once in the field will stay in rustic cabin for your base camp, with the option to spike out in Hilleberg tents, depending on the situation. Days start early with a quick breakfast and a hike to nearby glassing locations. Lunches and snacks will be provided in the field while you are looking for the bears. If you find a shooter, you will work with your guide to determine the best stalking approach to make your shot. At the end of the day, you will return to base camp for a meal and some planning for the next day. Once you have harvested, you will make plans to return to Anchorage for another night in the city prior to departure.
You can rest easy knowing the outfitter is going to take care of all the planning for this hunt. They will provide accommodations in Anchorage before and after the hunt as well as plan all of the food and lodging while in the field. They will even pick you up and drop you off directly at the Anchorage Airport for your flights, so no need to worry about any transportation once you arrive. This outfitter has you covered!
