HUNT DETAILS:
Ocean-based moose hunting in British Columbia is a one-of-a-kind adventure, combining coastal beauty with the pursuit of one of North America’s largest big game animals. This hunt, running from September to November 15, offers a thrilling mix of river, ocean, and inland hunting. The hunt begins with a jet-boat ride from the outfitter’s vessel to remote inlets, tidal flats, and dense coastal forests. Hunters can stalk moose by boat, explore on foot, or access inland areas using a pre-cached ATV.

Coastal moose thrive in these rugged rainforests, feeding on lush vegetation along logging roads and avalanche paths. While the trophy class is typically medium, success rates are high. Add-ons like black bear, mountain goat, or blacktail deer make this an unforgettable hunting experience.

ACCOMODATIONS:
Hunters will stay in either a 68-foot barge or well-equipped wall tents, depending on the hunt location. The barge serves as a floating base camp, offering a warm, dry place to rest with stunning ocean views, while the wall tents provide a true backcountry experience closer to the hunting grounds. Meals are included, with hearty, home-cooked dishes served on the barge and a mix of fresh and dehydrated meals available in the field. Whether enjoying a hot meal on the water or refueling in the wilderness, hunters can expect a comfortable and well-supported experience throughout the adventure.
