Description
This outfitter offers trophy moose hunts in Western Alaska where you can purchase your tag over-the-counter. Hunts are boat based out of a main base camp and considered to be of moderate difficulty. The hunt is 10 days long and coincides with the rut. All hunts are one-guide to one-client, unless hunters would like to hunt together each day. These hunts are ideal for two hunters who want to be able to hunt together each day, such as a father-son/mother-daughter or a couple of friends. The area is a 50”+ or 4 brow tine area with the average moose harvested in the 55"-65” range. Moose in this area typically have large fronts and palmated brow tines as you will see in the photos.
The outfitter holds her registered guide outfitters license, sport fish guide license, merchant mariner credential, and commercial pilots license. In addition to her work as a big game outfitter she also works in academia and resource management within the state of Alaska. She is dedicated to providing once in a lifetime hunting opportunities through the quality care of her clients and Alaska’s resources.
These hunts are located in a very remote area, which requires charter flights to get in and out of camp. Charter flights are priced separate from the hunt price, and clients will pay the charter service company direct. Charter flights will be coordinated with assistance from the outfitter.
