Description

ABOUT OUTFITTER:
Backed by more than three decades of northern big-game hunting, guiding, and outfitting expertise, this seasoned operation delivers unmatched Arctic adventures. The outfitting partners specialize in 10- to 12-day expeditions deep into the remote Northwest Territories, working closely with multiple Inuit villages and expanding their range of premium hunting areas each year.

HUNT DETAILS:
Travel is by snowmobile and sled to comfortable, heated base cabins, with insulated wall-tent hunting camps established as needed. Each hunter is paired with two skilled guides—one primary Inuit guide and an assistant—who know the terrain intimately and consistently locate trophy bears.

These hunts are conducted from late April through May as the bears emerge from their dens, these hunts focus on mature males averaging 7’ to 8’-6” with striking, long-haired coats often exceeding four inches. From late February through April, hunters explore vast, pristine landscapes under nearly endless daylight in pursuit of grizzlies, with the option to add wolf to the adventure. They also offer some of their grizzly hunts during the Fall each year if time permits. Please inquire about these hunts with your advisor.

Conditions & Preparation: Expect extreme northern temperatures that can dip to -25 °F. Despite the harsh environment, success rates remain exceptionally high year after year.

This outfitter combines deep-rooted Arctic knowledge with logistical precision, offering adventurous hunters the chance to secure one of the world’s truly great trophies. Contact our booking agency to reserve your Arctic grizzly, barren-ground grizzly, or limited-entry polar bear hunt and experience an extraordinary northern expedition.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
For Arctic grizzly and polar bear hunts like these, accommodations are comfortable but purpose-built for rugged, remote conditions. Hunters can expect:

Base Camps: Heated wood cabins serve as the central hub. Cabins are insulated and outfitted with oil or wood stoves, sturdy bunks, and basic cooking facilities. These cabins provide a warm, dry space to rest and regroup after long days on the tundra.

Field or Spike Camps: When bears are located far from the main base, portable hunting camps are set up. These typically feature heated, insulated wall tents designed to withstand Arctic winds and sub-zero temperatures. Cots, sleeping pads, and heavy-duty sleeping bags are standard, ensuring comfort during multi-day stays away from the main cabin.

Essential Amenities: Meals are hearty and designed to keep hunters fueled in extreme cold. Generators or small solar units often provide limited power for lights and communication equipment. Sanitation is typically by outhouse or wilderness methods—clean and practical but simple.

Overall, accommodations balance safety and warmth with the remote, expedition-style nature of Arctic big-game hunting, giving hunters the essentials they need without distracting from the wilderness experience.

LICENSE INFORMATION:
Tags and licenses are acquired through the outfitter and are in addition to the cost of the hunt. The outfitter handles all licenses and tag before the hunt arrives so that they are ready upon arrival.
