Altai Ibex Hunting in Mongolia

This HFA endorsed outfitter was established in 1993 and organizes argali, ibex, maral stag and gazelle hunts at our conservation hunting areas throughout Mongolia, with special hunting permits issued by the government of Mongolia. This is an Altai Ibex hunt with the option of adding a Gobi Ibex to the hunt as well. Or you can book it as a combo hunt at the time of booking.

Altai ibex hunts are conducted at western Mongolia, 5 days hunt, higher altitude of 8000 feet above sea level, demands good physical fitness, rocky mountains, average billies measuring 38”-42” horns, needs to shoot longer distances of 300-600 yards, camp will be Mongolian traditional Ger, food is prepared by best chefs from the city, bottled water, guides, interpreter, helpers, driver with hunting off-road trucks. These hunts are organized within July 15th – October 15th, every year.

Hunt duration: usually 5 days, can be extended to 7 days if needed
Shot ranges: shots are 300-600 yards
Average altitude: 8000 feet

Gobi Ibex are 35”-40” in horn length on average and hunted at the same regions of Altai Ibex, but to the lower Gobi desert hills between the higher Altai mountain ranges. Hunts are available between July 15th- October 15th, every year. Combination ibexes hunts are available.
