ABOUT OUTFITTER:
This HFA-endorsed outfitter has been operating since 2005, offering expertly guided hunts in the Northern Rocky Mountains Provincial Park of Northern British Columbia. They are fortunate to operate within a protected area, home to incredible species like Stone Sheep, Canadian Moose, Mountain Goat, and Elk providing once-in-a-lifetime hunting experiences. British Columbia hosts over half of North America’s Mountain Goat population, estimated between 50,000 to 60,000. With approximately 10,000 to 25,000 goats in Alaska and smaller populations in other regions, B.C. stands out as a premier destination for trophy-class mountain goat hunts.
HUNT DETAILS
This outfitter operates in one of the top trophy-producing areas on the East Slope of British Columbia, known for its abundant mountain goats with large bases and impressive length. The region’s diverse ecosystem supports a healthy, stable population of mature billies, offering clients a greater chance of success with a limited number of hunters each season. Goat hunting here requires good physical fitness, as it involves steep, rugged terrain. Access is via horses or jet boats, followed by hikes into goat country. Expect to see goats daily, with some days spotting more than 10. This hunt is ideal for those seeking a mature billy with an 8-inch+ horn and large bases. For the best weather, choose early August; September or October offers longer hair. All hunts are 8 full hunting days (10 days total).
ACCOMODATIONS:
Depending on the hunting area, accommodations can vary from a cabin or wall tent to a two-man tent fully stocked with freeze-dried food for the entire hunt. Each setup is designed to provide comfort and convenience while ensuring you have everything needed to focus on your adventure. Whether you’re staying in a sturdy cabin or a compact, well-equipped tent, the outfitter ensures your camp is ready to support a successful hunt in the wilderness.
LICENSE DETAILS:
All necessary licenses and tags are included in this all-inclusive hunt and will be provided to you by the outfitter upon your arrival at camp.
