This HFA Endorsed Outfitter is a family owned and operated outfitter has been around since the 70's. They offer fully guided and outfitted Mule Deer, Whitetail, Black Bear, Wingshooting, and Predator hunts. This particular profile outlines their trophy Canadian Moose hunts that are located in the Southeastern side of the province. .
This outfitter's moose hunts start out at their lodge on a Lake where you will leave each morning by boat, argo, or truck. This type of hunt is usually less physical. This is a rut hunt meaning it works well to call the moose out of the brush and close the distance especially down to the water's edge. Limited hunts in November are also available and can be combined with whitetail in the rut.
OUTFITTER/HUNT FACTS:
- Hunts run from Mid September to mid October
- Average shot distance is 20 – 40 yards for bears 100 yards for moose.
- Average trophy size for moose is 43"+
- There is excellent fishing in the area for northern pike, walleye, perch and whitefish. They supply all tackle, rods and reels.
- A .25 caliber rifle or larger is required.
- They are happy to supply you with a rifle for your hunt(Fee of $150).
- Non-hunters are welcome to accompany you in camp ($2,500). Non-hunters with fishing($4,000.00).
