Description
Exclusive rifle or archery rut hunt! If you want a great elk hunt in the rut, this hunt is as good as they get. This outfitter offers a limited number of rut elk hunts each year, taking a maximum of 2 hunters. You will have a chance to see a number of bulls in that 330” to 350”+ class. This rugged and remote country is perfect for the elk, and with it being roadless has allowed a high percentage of the bulls to reach that upper age-class that trophy elk hunters are after. Elk numbers have doubled in this area and the outfitter is seeing more and more mature bulls each year that passes. You also don’t have to worry about relying on migrating elk or park boundaries. The elk in this area are resident elk and they use the same areas all the time. Lodging and meals are provided, and in some cases, the option to spike camp for a night may be available. This is a classic horseback mountain wilderness hunt!
