Description
The Alaska Range is 600 mile long arc of mountains that stretch from the Alaska-Canada border all the way tot he Alaska Peninsula. If you descent North by Northeast from it's highest point on Mount Denali, you will find the section of wilderness where this Mater Guide has carved out his living in the backcountry. Multiple established camps connected by well worn horse trails will be where you pursue some of the best caribou Alaska has to offer.
Begin your adventure near Healy with a bush-flight into base camp where you will meet your guide. From here you will depart on sure-footed horses that are familiar with the country and the trails. Once at spike camp you will hunt the mountains and surrounding foothills in search of your bull. With this being a limited draw tag area, hunters can expect to find the mature bulls this unit is famous for. Once your bull is harvested your skilled guide will ensure the utmost care is taken with meat, cape, and antlers. You will appreciate the horses even more as they pack your trophy bull back to camp!
Talk with an advisor and work with our application services to get your name in the hat for this hunt. Drawing the tag is the hardest part. From there we will get you lined up for your own horseback caribou adventure.
