All travel expenses from Anchorage are included in the hunt price. By offering a limited number of hunts, they guarantee top-tier trophy quality on every expedition.
HUNT DETAILS:
Towering peaks, crystal-clear rivers, and abundant wildlife welcome you as you arrive at this outfitter’s base camp, nestled deep in the heart of the Alaska Range. This region boasts exceptional genetics and minimal hunting pressure, offering some of the best trophy potential for bull caribou in Alaska. Hunts run from early August through mid-September, utilizing ATVs and jet boats to access prime hunting areas from a rustic cabin, as well as backpack-style and tent camps.
Hunters should be prepared to cover ground, as these caribou are not on a set migration path. Instead, they move freely across the landscape—one day crossing the valley floor, the next resting atop a remote mountain peak. While this is not a high-density population, the quality of the bulls is outstanding, making this an excellent choice for those seeking a truly impressive trophy.
Late summer and early fall also provide prime opportunities for bear hunting, as brown and grizzly bears actively feed in berry patches, creating ideal spot-and-stalk scenarios. Combination hunts are available, or hunters can harvest a brown/grizzly bear for a trophy fee with prior coordination.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Hunts are based out of either a small rustic cabin or a comfortable mountain-style tent camp, providing a practical yet efficient base for your Alaskan adventure. Meals include a mix of freeze-dried options and limited fresh foods flown in at the start of your hunt. While the setup is simple, it is designed to keep you dry, well-rested, and ready for the challenges of the hunt. Every detail is carefully planned to balance comfort and functionality, ensuring you have the energy and focus needed for a successful and unforgettable wilderness experience.
LICENSE INFORMATION:
Over-the-counter harvest tickets are available for most areas and species. Your license and tags can be purchased online through the ADFG website at least a month prior to the hunt.
