Alaska Moose with a Master Guide

Hunt trophy moose on the Alaska Peninsula in the Lake Iliamna Country. This hunt will be conducted from a State of Alaska DNR Exclusive Commercial Recreational Use Permitted, fly-in, heated tent camp that benefits from it’s location being adjacent to a lake and a, 200 ft in elevation, knob that serves as an observation platform. You will glass the surrounding area’s lakes, ridges, and other topographical features along with the use of various calling techniques during the course of your 11 day hunt. Terrain consists of spruce and hardwood forests adjacent to rolling tundra. This Master Guide has maintained 63 inch average and an 85 % success rate on his moose hunts.

There are regularly scheduled daily flights from Anchorage to Iliamna with Iliamna Air Taxi. Hunting licenses and tags can be purchased online. A Registration Permit must be obtained in person at a local vendor for the Dept. of Fish and Game in Iliamna prior to the hunt and the outfitter will assist in this process. The Outfitter provides airport pick up and drop as well as accommodations before and after the hunt.

Sport fishing for Northern Pike is available in camp. Silver or “Coho” salmon sport fishing is also available. World famous sport fishing for trophy rainbow trout is available before or after your moose hunt.

Grey Wolf inhabit the area and can be pursued prior to killing a bull during the contracted period for no additional fee.

These 11 day 1X1 hunts will be conducted 5-15 September.
