I was glassing distant ridges using my Zulu 6 12x binos (which are also image stabilized, no tripod needed) when a herd of caribou suddenly moved out from behind a ridge. They were in and out of sight and moving fast. I didn’t have time to set up a tripod, and I needed to zoom in quickly to determine if any of the bulls were worth pursuing.
