Innovative Features for Fast, Accurate Long-Range Shots
Years of development and pushing the limits of what is possible in a rifle optic has led up to this moment. Introducing the Veracity PH from Burris, the perfect combination of reliability, quality, and technology delivering the fastest and most precise aiming solution in a hunting optic, ever. Dial to distance with confidence and let Burris do the math.
“Choosing a riflescope can easily lead to paralysis by analysis. With so many variables – cost, glass quality, turrets, FFP vs. SFP, weight, magnification, tech features, and brand reputations – it’s hard to know where to begin.
Recently, I had the chance to test the Burris Veracity PH, and I did something bold. I removed the scope from my most accurate rifle to give the Burris a fair trial. Since I trust the rifle’s performance, it provided a solid baseline for evaluating the new scope.
Right out of the box, a few features stood out. The Veracity PH is lightweight, compact, and offers a 5x zoom range, all of which are high on my priority list. The glass quality exceeded expectations for a scope at this price point ($1,440), checking several boxes right away.
But the real surprise came when I turned the elevation turret, no clicks, no tactile feedback. At first, I was confused, but after reading the manual, I realized it uses a smooth digital/mechanical turret that allows for 1/10th MOA adjustments. This level of precision makes dialing to specific ranges incredibly efficient.
Even more impressive is the built-in heads-up display (HUD) inside the scope. It shows incline, yardage or MOA, and wind hold (MOA). This feature eliminates the need to reference a drop chart or phone mid-shot. Once I confirmed my zero and velocity, I tested the scope from 100 to 1,015 yards and was blown away by how quickly and accurately I could dial and shoot. A small benefit with having the HUD is no more forgetting to reset your zero.
Setup was straightforward. The BurrisConnect app made it easy to input ballistic data and update settings in real time – even without cell service, which isn’t always the case with similar systems.
If you’re looking for a scope that blends advanced technology, quality optics, and solid performance – all at a competitive price – the Burris Veracity PH is absolutely worth considering.” – Matt White, HF Adventures Hunt Advisor
